About Us
We are the Southwest Division. With a membership of 1,400 active bowlers, we are the largest of seven divisions under the umbrella of Bowls USA.
Our Delegate Assembly, which is made up of the Executive Board and two delegates (one man and one woman from each club within the division), is governed by our Bylaws. The Delegate Assembly meets three times each year and holds an Annual General Meeting in January. Executive Board members are elected at the AGM, along with two councilors, a man and a woman, who represent the division at Bowls USA meetings.
Our men and women work together to foster the sport of bowls, create and run an active tournament season (February though November), and host both national and international events. We are committed to enhancing the visibility of the sport of bowls in our division as well as throughout the country.

“One of the many things that I appreciate about lawn bowling is the focus on competition and friendships. Friendships that are devoid of economic class, religion or political beliefs. I enjoy just being able to play and be friends without bias or prejudice. When members bring their religious and political beliefs onto the green, it disappoints me. And it harms the friendship. Not because of the beliefs, but because they are revealed in the sanctity of the green.”
