May 13, 2026 -  Ladies Day at Long Beach LBC

Long Beach LBC hosted our Ladies Day and their hospitality was terrific.  They took care of all the ladies for lunch with several great salads and plenty of desserts. 

We welcomed ladies from several clubs joining us for the first time.  The Groves LBC: Marina Pavlovich; Hermosa Beach LBC: Linda Purkiss, Denise Loversky and Denise Schneider; Long Beach LBC: Elen Castleberry and Joyce Zoubel;  Laguna Woods LBC:  Row Gallo.  We had 43 Ladies from 9 clubs attending this time.   Everyone, keep promoting Ladies Day – the more the merrier.

And now for our results of this day’s bowling.

In the morning 12 ends were played and the winners were:

1st Place:       Tory Ruppert, Elen Castleberry, Molly Smulian        

2nd Place:      Julie Kimura, Deborah Long, Lisa Morrone

3rd Place:     Patty Doidge, Connie Delgado, Barbara Hardesty

The afternoon game of 10 ends was won by:

1st Place:       Claudia Sego, Eleanor Reafsnyder, Vicki Wong        

2nd Place:    Doreen Hall, Susie Rausavljevich, Denise Loversky

3rd Place:       Aileen Broccardo, Catherine Early, Marina Pavlovich

Wednesday, June 10th Hermosa Beach will be hosting our next Ladies Day.  They have graciously offered to serve lunch for everyone.   Send in your list of those attending early so the host club can prepare for our lunch.
