Jun 10, 2026 -  Ladies Day at Hermosa Beach LBC

Hermosa Beach LBC hosted our Ladies Day, and their hospitality was amazing.  They served a wonderful breakfast, which included my favorite, lox and bagels, and even had 3 different cream cheeses.  Someone also made a great quiche.  They provided a full lunch for everyone, which was greatly appreciated.  Thank you, Hermosa Beach.

Joining us for the first time were: Kathy Ladd, Karen Esparza, Judy Brothers and Sylvia Perez from Friendly Valley LBC.  Also, Grace McDougal from The Groves LBC.  We had 43 Ladies from 10 clubs attending this time.  Thank you all for attending and we hope to see you at more Ladies Days in the future.

And now for our results of this day’s bowling.

In the morning, 12 ends were played, and the winners were:

1st Place:  Aileen Broccardo, Karen Shorr, Cathy Ostrom

2nd Place: Sandra Mironesco, Elen Castleberry, Bunny Halter

3rd Place: Diana Wenzel, Kathy Ladd, Marina Pavlovich

The afternoon game of 10 ends was won by:

1st Place:   Esther Lee, Barbara Hardesty

2nd Place: Aileen Broccardo, Karen Esparza, Marina Pavlovich

3rd Place: Patty Doidge, Judy Brothers, Bunny Halter
