August 12, 2026 - Ladies Day at Laguna Beach LBC

Laguna Beach LBC hosted our Ladies Day, and their hospitality was amazing.  It’s always a treat to walk into their clubhouse and see such a nice arrangement of food to enjoy. 

 We had 53 Ladies from 10 clubs attending this time. (Casta del Sol, The Groves, Holmby Park, Laguna Woods, Laguna Beach, Long Beach, Newport Harbor Oaks North, Santa Ana and a visitor from Berkeley)  Thanks to all the Delegates and members who promote Ladies Day; we are very successful. It is wonderful to welcome these Ladies attending for the first time:  From Oaks North, Angie Gonzales, Hui Wang and Stephanie Thomas (thanks for driving the distance).  Laguna Beach, Caroline Hagemeier; Newport Harbor, Barbara Marr, and Beverly McCabe, and a visitor from Berkeley, Janine Maddock.

And now for our results of this day’s bowling.

In the morning, 12 ends were played, and the winners were:

1st Place:                 Joan Narmontas, Terri Bisch, Marina Pavlovich

2nd Place:               Kelly Lacey, Madeline Wilson, Jenn Selcho

3rd Place:                Heather Stewart, Myra Farrell, Marti Hall

The afternoon game of 10 ends was won by:

1st Place:                 Janine Maddock, Janelle Williams, Linda Bator

2nd Place:               Sandra Mironesco, Caroline Hagemeier, Terri Bisch

3rd Place:                Heather Stewart, Madeline Wilson, Marti Hall

Wednesday, September 9th, Santa Ana LBC will be hosting our next Ladies Day.  Start gathering your list of those attending.  I will be sending out driving directions – it is a little tricky to get there.  Don’t just Google their address.  Also be aware that there are steps to climb, but they will have help for those who need it.
