August 13, 2025 LADIES DAY

August 13, 2025 -  Ladies Day at Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach hosted our August ladies day and once again showed us wonderful hospitality.  They had a beautiful assortment for breakfast, great salads for lunch and desserts including Heather Stewart’s heavenly hash.  The greens were set up and ready for our large crowd to have a fabulous day on the greens.

A big thank you to all the ladies who participated in Ladies Day.  There were 57 ladies from 12 different SW Division clubs.  We all had a fun day bowling.  The clubs joining us for the day were Casta del Sol LBC, Hermosa Beach LBC, Holmby LBC, Laguna Beach LBC, Laguna Woods LBC, Long Beach LBC, Newport Harbor LBC, Oaks North LBC,  San Diego LBC, Santa Ana LBC, Santa Monica LBC and The Groves LBC.  

The following ladies attended Ladies Day for the first time and we hope to continue seeing them:  From Long Beach LBC; Vicki Wong an Amy Toy,  From Newport Harbor LBC; Lisa Morrone and Tracy Rath, From San Diego LBC; Christine Edlund and Suzanne deLong.  

And now for our results of this day’s bowling.

In the morning 12 ends were played and the winners were:

1st Place:  Joanne Hedgespeth, Diane Prior and Kathy Becker

2nd Place: Kathy Yezarski, Diana Wenzel and Suzanne DeLong

3rd Place: Maureen Schulte, Merrill Stanton and Vickie Wong

The afternoon game of 10 ends was won by:

1st Place:   Janice Lavelle, Diane Reynolds, Sheila Beingesser and Jenn Selcho

2nd Place: Tory Ruppert, Norma Goodhart and Aileen Broccardo

3rd Place: Joan Narmontas, Claudia Sego, Janelle Williams and Cindie Chafe
