September 10, 2025 -  Ladies Day at Hermosa Beach LBC

Hermosa Beach LBC hosted our September Ladies day and welcomed us with open arms.  Their hospitality was absolutely amazing, starting with a fabulous assortment for breakfast (many homemade) and then a beautiful luncheon buffet.     

A big thank you to all the ladies who participated in Ladies Day.  There were 44 ladies from 11 different SW Division clubs.  Everyone enjoyed their games and friendships.  The clubs joining us for the day were Beverly Hills LBC, Casta del Sol LBC, Hermosa Beach LBC, Holmby LBC, Laguna Beach LBC, Laguna Woods LBC, Long Beach LBC, Newport Harbor LBC, Santa Ana LBC, Santa Monica LBC and The Groves LBC. 

The following ladies attended Ladies Day for the first time and we hope to continue seeing them: From Hermosa Beach, Kathy Welch, Shara Montana and Bunny Halter, From Long Beach, Christine Baratta.

And now for our results of this day’s bowling.

In the morning 12 ends were played and the winners were:

1st Place:       Phyllis Mitchell, Gale Gellerman, Sheila Beingessner  

2nd Place:      Maureen Schulte, Terri Bisch and Shara Montana                   

3rd Place:      Claudia Sego, Sally Chateau and Patti Giglio                           

The afternoon game of 10 ends was won by:

1st Place:       Kelly Lacey, Gale Gellerman and Christine Baratta     

2nd Place:      Inger Benson and Roberta Morrison       

3rd Place:       Diane Prior, Linda Bator and Sheila Beingessner
